A pair of wired in-ear earphones with a brushed metal housing and a USB-C plug. No battery, so nothing degrades, nothing needs charging, and nothing has to be recycled as electronic waste in five years.

The cable is white and smooth, and it is what it looks like: a plastic-sheathed wire. We looked at braided cloth and it frayed at the plug. The tips are silicone, in three sizes.
